Before establishing withTHIEL Consulting in 2011, Thiel held the position of Vice President at Issey Miyake, overseeing business & communication activities across the Americas. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in building the Public Relations and Marketing Department at Intershoe, collaborating closely with acclaimed shoe designer Ernesto Esposito. Joe Thiel's career includes notable roles such as elevating the presence of Japanese Fashion Week in the United States during his tenure at JETRO. His expertise also extends to education, with a regular lecturing engagement at Parsons School of Design, where he covers a spectrum of topics ranging from marketing to design.
In tandem with his contributions to the business landscape, Joe Thiel maintains a strong connection with the international design and art community.
